Breakfast in Bed with Maica Palo

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.20.09 PMMy boyfriend and I used to study in the same college. We weren’t blockmates but we saw each other almost every day. We often crashed at their house after school since it was near. We’d have dinner there, and then he’d accompany me home.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.20.15 PM

But here’s the part you are waiting for: Siyempre may iba rin kaming ginagawa!

After mag-dinner we’d usually go up to his room and spend a couple of hours before niya ako ihatid sa amin. His family didn’t object to our routine—at imposibleng hindi nila alam what we’d sometimes do in his room. I’m sure they’ve heard the “noises” we made.

His parents were used to seeing me around— pinagluluto pa nga kami ng mommy niya. I even had my own space in my boyfriend’s closet.

One school day, my classes ended later than usual. My boyfriend had to wait for me for about two hours. By the time I got out of my class, we were both so hungry that we quickly went to their house.

I can’t remember what his mom had prepared that day, but I do remember what I had for dessert: a banana. Those who know me well know na mahilig ako sa saging.

Anyway, I remember I took two from the bushel of bananas on the dining table after our meal. Kinakain ko na yung isa while we were walking toward his room. We’ve been together for quite some time now, so when he said, “Babe…” right after we got inside his room, I knew na what he wanted.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.20.45 PM

Maybe I wanted to repay him for waiting for me earlier, but all I know was I urged him for us to try something different this time around. Para may thrill. Para maiba. So I told him, “Puwede ba kitang i-blow habang kumakain ako ng saging?” Ha ha! Of course, he agreed to it!

While he freshened up, I took off all my clothes and waited for him on the bed. I had my other banana (the real one) lying beside me.

We kissed, he spent time on my boobs and my pussy then turn ko na… I knelt in between his legs. I grabbed his hard dick with one hand while I held the banana in the other. I sucked him, then kagat ng saging, BJ ulit, tapos labas, tapos nguya, and swallow, ha ha!

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.20.38 PM

And take note ha, I didn’t copy this from some smut film—I don’t even watch porn.

So while I was doing this, he suddenly told me that he wanted to feel what I was chewing…on his cock. I agreed—siyempre naman—and chewed some up before blowing him again. I even licked his balls with it. Based from his moans, it might have been the greatest head I’ve ever given.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.20.55 PM

After a few minutes he told me that he wanted to go inside me. I asked him to wash himself first, and then yun na—we finished it off with a bang!

Visions

Costa Rica

Waking up on a tree branch near Guayacán de Siquirres, a red- eyed tree frog peers through a gold-striped, semitransparent eyelid. The scarlet eyes on this toxic, three-inch- long amphibian might be an example of startle coloration—a defense strategy some animals use to ward off predators.

April Gustilo has got an appetite for oral experimentation

My makeup artist and I were in the car headed home one night, after a show. We were talking about boys.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.52.13 PM

As usual, girl talk became sex talk. And then habang nagbibiruan kami about secret bedroom moves, my makeup artist mentioned I should try doing it with candy.

So I got curious and asked her: “What do you mean try it with candy?” My sister and her husband were also in the car, but my makeup artist had never been the shy type so diniretso niya ako: “Mas masasarapan yung guy pag bli-nowjob mo siya nang may candy ka in your mouth.”

Ako naman, parang, “What?!” She told me I should use mint candy, specifically. Medyo malamig daw kasi sa mouth and sa balat. I asked her kung magiging masarap din for me, and she told me to just try it if I wanted to find out. Of course I was already curious. I’m a firm believer that when it comes to intimacy— especially in long-term relationships— both parties should be open to trying different things. Kailangan may bago kayong natututunan to keep things fresh and exciting. Kasi when you’re exploring, the things you didn’t know you could do, you suddenly find out that you can.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.53.47 PM

I could attest to that personally, because that same night I met my boyfriend for the typical dinner night that didn’t end as it typically did. Fast forward tayo to my room. Hindi ko sinabi sa kanya yung balak ko, but in my room, before we started kissing, I already popped candy in my mouth. At the time, it was a SnowBear menthol candy—but I’ve tried different types of mint candies since. He didn’t ask kung bakit ako may candy sa bibig. Kasi with kissing ganun naman talaga, biglaan. Minsan you’re bound to have something else in your mouth. But after kissing him on the lips, and all of the lambingan, I took my candy down south and unzipped his pants.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.52.41 PMI liked the feeling in my mouth. I could taste the mint in the candy more than I could taste the skin on his penis. Na-e-enjoy ko rin kasi parang kumakain lang din ako ng mint- flavored ice cream. And I liked the sensation: yung coolness ng candy, and the warmth of my guy’s skin in my mouth.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.52.20 PMI could feel my boyfriend’s initial surprise. But I also felt, while I was doing it, na nasasarapan siya. He told me first time din daw niya to experience those sensations. Mas lalo daw siyang tinigasan—and I felt it. We made love harder and more intimately after that. And when we finished, he asked me, “Puwede ba nating ulitin?” Siguro naman alam niyo na yung sinagot ko dun.

The funny thing about it is when my sister comes over, nagtataka siya. “Bakit ang daming candy dun sa may TV?” she would ask. We’d laugh about it, but I know may idea na rin siya kung bakit, because she was in the car when all the candy sex talk began. I’m sure she overheard all the dirty details, although I hope her imagination isn’t as active!

First Bird

The eagle is a national symbol, not just for Americans, but for Germans like me and many other people too. Photographers tend to portray the birds as these majestic animals, always soaring in a blue sky with their plumage perfectly in place.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.34.10 PM

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 10.35.38 PMIn the Aleutian Islands in Alaska I found bald eagles that were wilder and tougher than that. They were dirty, they were wet, and they fought with each other, which is not what we expect from our national symbols. But maybe a bird that can deal with strong weather and difficult comrades makes a better source of inspiration.

Around the village of Unalaska and nearby Dutch Harbor, the largest fishing port in the United States, the eagles are very much used to people. Fish are everywhere, and the eagles hang around, looking for leftovers. They go to fishing boats, where they search on the decks after the boats come in. They go to where the fishermen clean their nets. They sit on the roofs of processing plants.

To make these photographs, I would go to the wild places outside of town where these habituated eagles congregated. There I could face the eagles eye to eye. I could get close to them without using a blind. They were always fully aware of me. I had to be careful, I had to study them, and I had to know what they liked and what they didn’t like. You might have found me lying on my belly, surrounded by 40 eagles.

I have been to the Aleutians seven times, and I will go again. I am an eagle man—I like eagles so much.

You see, they can fly, and I cannot.

DIVINE MAITLAND-SMITH – “the life of the party last night.”

Honestly, I think a lot of sexy experiences happen because of alcohol—beer included.

I’m speaking for a lot of people when I say it helps encourage sexual intimacy.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.18.13 PM

But it depends on the kind of intimacy you’re after. If you’re looking for a long-term relationship, then you don’t really drink just for the sake of a little sexy time. But if it’s a one-time thing, then “Yeah, let’s drink!” is definitely apt for the moment.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.19.10 PMFor me, the craziest I’ve gone with alcohol was that one time at a party when I brought everyone to the pool—and stripped. I did something like that in PBB, but I only undid my top—and I don’t think they ever aired it.

The other time was at a fiesta, where I was invited to deejay and sing at the Sugar Coast Beach Bash in Bacolod. They brought in a lot of musicians from Manila, too—about 20 of us, and we all just kind of hung out together.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.18.42 PMWe started at about 6 p.m., and I was drinking during and in-between sets—so basically, the whole night. There was a lot of hard alcohol, but I hung on to my bottle of beer—no, bottles. I think I probably had around seven beers that night, but it was a long night, so let’s put the final number at, well, more than just a few.

Later in the evening, everyone was getting lazy and sleepy. I think everyone was hiding their own drunkenness, but I was so drunk that I had this idea, and just started screaming: “Guys let’s go to the pool!” And then I ran, took my clothes off little by little on the way to the pool, and everyone followed.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.18.50 PMMy attire was composed of a singlet, jeans, and boots. The details are a bit hazy, but by the time I reached the pool, only my Calvin Klein underwear and a black, see-through bra remained. The guys took their shirts off, and the girls stripped to their bras, and we all jumped in the pool. It wasn’t a full-strip or skinny-dipping but these were people who I didn’t completely know yet. I mean, the people who jumped in the pool were my friends; we all knew each other or heard of each other, or we’ve said hi before—but that was the extent of our friendship.

They were friends, but they weren’t the kind of friends who have seen me in my underwear, yet here I was, jumping in the pool with nothing but a see-through bra, with them.

The morning after, people were coming up to me saying, “D! You were the life of the party last night!” And I was, like, “What? I don’t know what you’re talking about.” And of course, they’d remind me: “I remember you stripped.” and I was like, “Okay, I remember that…”

LJ Reyes – Midnight cravings and expect good things in return

But here’s what I believe: any food you consider to be good could turn any night into a steamy evening, so long as the proper elements fall into place. And on one occasion, that’s exactly what happened to me. As if the night were following a hell of a recipe, the ingredients came together in perfect proportions to produce what would be a hot, satisfying meal—if you get my drift.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.06.35 PM

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.07.01 PM

Ingredient No. 1: Go on a night-out. But don’t bring the boyfriend along. That night, my boyfriend and I got invited to two separate parties, so we each had to go our own way. Was it a little sad that we weren’t together? Maybe. But little did I know that our momentary separation would be a good thing later on in the night.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.07.15 PMIngredient No. 2: Get a nice hotel room. I knew that there was no way I was coming home early that night so logically, I got a nice, cozy room at a nearby hotel to crash in. Would I invite the boyfriend later on? It depended on how he would behave that night.

Third: Get tipsy. Sing. Dance. Lose yourself. Because hey, that’s how nights out are supposed to go, right?

Lastly: A thoughtful boyfriend to take care of you
after that night’s festivities. As the party wound down, I decided I’d had enough. I was hungry because I’d been like a whirlwind all night long, and it has always been my habit to eat at a certain restaurant in The Fort after a night-out. My boyfriend had always known this, so he texted, “Hey, gusto mo um-order na ‘ko for us? We could just eat at your hotel room.”

I said yes. I was already at the hotel room, lounging around, and just giving my tired feet a rest.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.08.14 PM

And when he finally arrived, there were two scents I terribly enjoyed upon opening the door: the tapa, and his smell. Nagutom ako lalo. And he looked like he was, too. The first order of business: satisfy the first hunger. We devoured our meals. For a quick 10 minutes, we were essentially “galit-galit muna” although we had a little playful smile creeping out from the side of our lips.

After stuffing ourselves silly, I thought that was the end of it. Akala ko our night was over, that we were going to sleep it off. But when our eyes met, things only got more interesting from there. Parang nag-twinkle yung mga mata namin, and…let’s just say that a different kind of hunger suddenly struck us.

Remember that part I told you about how it was a little sad that we didn’t go out together? Well, here’s the payoff: that little moment of separation made us sort of miss each other as if we hadn’t seen each other in a while. We both had fun that night, we had a good meal, and now all we had was one another. Nag-enjoy kayo sa company ng ibang tao but in the back of your mind, alam mo na you would come home to each other. That’s always a sexy thought.

Screen Shot 2014-12-22 at 9.08.06 PM

So what a way to cap off the night. The way we looked
like wolves while having our post-party meals, well, it was nothing compared to what we had that night for “dessert.” The meal helped a lot, not just because it was good food but because at that point, mahirap nang gumawa ng kahit ano kung gutom ka.

In that sense, our meal became an aphrodisiac. I’ll leave the details to your imagination, but I’ll leave you some food for thought: mas masarap pala kumain after it.
